PhD Overview

My PhD is focusing on Structure Health Monitoring. The bridge is subject to Scour after years of construction due to water moving. The monitoring technique will help to discover the problem before failure. also, the monitoring after implementation of scour protection becomes necessary to monitor the bridge. My project focuses on developing a numerical model to monitor the bridge before and after the implementation of the scour protection to help engineers detect the problem and monitor the importance of the scour protection materials to increase the stiffness of the bridge and reduce the scour problems.
