PhD Overview

Nucleic acid therapeutics offer a promising avenue for precise disease treatment. Although the development of small interfering RNA (siRNA) therapeutics faces challenges, the market is poised for growth. My PhD project investigates the use of siRNA to overcome chemoresistance in breast cancer by targeting a key transcription factor involved in cellular response and drug detoxification. This research integrates advanced molecular methodologies and bioinformatics to analyse cellular behaviour while employing copolymers as innovative delivery systems for both in vitro and in vivo siRNA administration. By successfully advancing this research, I aim to contribute significantly to the application of next-generation RNA therapeutics in oncology.

About Me

I am pursuing a PhD in Pharmacy at the University of Nottingham, funded by the SLB FFTF Fellowship and the University of Petra in Jordan. As an enthusiastic researcher, I specialize in in vitro and in vivo experimentation, with an ambition to become a leader in next-generation RNA therapeutics and genetics. I am passionate about mentoring young scientists and sharing knowledge. Additionally, I am gaining valuable experience in biocompatibility studies and global GLP regulations. In my free time, I enjoy exploring creative arts, which enrich my perspective.
