PhD Overview

My PhD research thesis is based on the synthesis and characterisation of activated carbon from cross-linked polymers and the Enhancement of its electrochemical performance through heteroatoms and cobalt incorporation. The porous carbon were investigated as electrodes material for supercapacitors applications and were synthesised via hydrothermal method followed by one-step chemical activation process using a tubular furnace. Many strategies have been used to attain the sim of this study which is to enhance the electrochemical performance of the activated carbon derived from polyvinyl alcohol/polyvinyl pyrrolidone.
