- PhD Title: An Anomaly Detection for IoT Environments
- Year of Completion: 2025

PhD Overview
Throughout my PhD, I have been developing anomaly detection for IoT environments through applied machine learning and network traffic analysis, aiming to identify potential cyberattacks early based on deviations from expected IoT device’s behaviour (blue teaming), where network administrators use these insights to defend against and mitigate cyberattack expansion. I have also evaluated machine learning-based (e.g., deep learning, random forest, transfer learning) IoT device identifications, highlighting the critical assumption researchers make in such a problem affecting their proactive defence solutions.
