PhD Overview

The goal of this project is to understand the travel needs, choices, and experiences of sandwich carers, examine the reasons behind these patterns, and explore the role of transport challenges and barriers in shaping these patterns. This investigation will help us identify transport interventions that can be implemented to enhance the quality of life for sandwich carers.

About Me

I am a PhD student at University College London, Centre for Transport Studies, researching travel behaviour and inclusion in transport. Besides my research, I am enthusiastic about entrepreneurship, having completed several training courses and organised workshops for fellow UCL PhD students. Before starting my PhD, in my home country Jordan, I co-founded GeoTalks, a voluntary platform aimed at empowering geomatics engineers with skills to enhance their career prospects.
